Madame Vesta was a teacher on Alderaan during the reign of the Galactic Empire. She taught Princess Leia Organa at Madame Vesta's Select Academy, and because of her strict teaching process, Leia at one point referred to Vesta as a "rancor" and an "old hag."[1]
