The Unification War was the conflict that directly led to the formation of the Galactic Republic. Two known participating factions in the war were the Organian Empire and the Anarchic Brotherhood of Planets. During the last battle of the war, Jonathan Bac, who would later become the first Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, fought against the Anarchic Brotherhood of Planets and ended the war.[1]
