The True Sith Empire was a Sith-led government that rose to power after the collapse of the First Sith Empire at the close of the Great Hyperspace War. The True Sith were brought together by Lord Vitiate, an apprentice of the late Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos, who brought the reconstituted empire into the Unknown Regions to rebuild their forces in secret.[1]
From the Imperial capital of Dromund Kaas, the True Sith Empire planned a war effort against the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order. The Great Galactic War was launched in 3,681 BBY and ended nearly 30 years later with a Sith victory, leading to a tense Cold War between the two sides. A hot war was eventually sparked again in the form of the Second Great Galactic War.[1]
