The Senatorial Crescent of Valor was the highest award for valor that could be awarded to members of the Galactic Republic military during the time of the Hutt War. It was expected that the recipients of the medal set a high and inspirational example for others to follow. During her inaugural address, Supreme Chancellor Hisako Hoshiko presented the award to the survivors of the Battle of Ando Prime.[1]
