Prohibition was the outlawing of alcohol on certain Outer Rim worlds. It was enacted by the Hutt Lords as punishment for particular worlds' resistance to Hutt rule during the Rim Wars. One such world was Tatooine, where possession of alcohol was a criminal offense.[1]
