Pethar Bac was a descendant of Jedi Master and famed explorer Calid Baatch, and a member of the Bac family line. He was a historian in the Jedi Order and knew of the darksphere, which Mira Baatch and the Wardens had kept safe for several decades prior to Pethar's discovery. He began researching the artifact and became obsessed with it, leading him to write a number of journals on the subject. He came to believe that he had discovered where Mira had hidden the darksphere, but vanished after he set out to find it.[1]
