The Order of Veritas was a group of members of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars who were sworn to protect secrets regarding the past.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Although it was hinted to in the past in the form of articles on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki, Brandon Rhea officially confirmed the development of the Order of Veritas on December 10, 2008, although he did not go into any large amounts of detail.[1] Veritas translates to "truth" in the Latin language, so it is possible that the name was chosen due to the secret that the Order of Veritas is protecting in the Alternative Star Wars Saga.[2]
