The J-type 327 Utapauan royal starship was a starship used by Utapau Queen Sabé Arcadia and piloted by Ric Olié during the Invasion of Utapau. The craft was reserved for use by the sovereign people of the planet, and it had no weapons. Silver in color, the starship was said to have embodied the glory of the royalty and the noble spirit of the common citizens of Utapau. The vessel also employed a number of astromech droids, including R2-D2, for repair work.[1]
During the Invasion of Utapau, the ship traveled to Tatooine to escape from the forces of the Trade Federation. Upon arriving on the planet, it crashed after grazing a sandstorm that had formed near the Anchorhead settlement, disabling the craft's hyperdrive generator.[1]
