The Hutt Civil War was a conflict between factions of the Hutt Empire led by Emperor Tusa Ujalli Hai and former Hutt Chairman Gorrbag, stemming from Tusa's dissolving of the Hutt Grand Council that forced Gorrbag and a number of other Hutts out of power. The conflict lasted for two years, from 12,977 BBY through 12,976 BBY, and resulted in a victory for Tusa, allowing him to tighten his control over the Hutt Empire. Gorrbag fled to Corellia, where he was ultimately killed by the Corellian Security Forces.
