High Lord was a rank in the Dark Jedi of the Bogan. The single individual who held the rank was hand picked by the Bogan, the leader of the order, to serve as the Bogan's right hand and closest adviser. The High Lord would serve as the Bogan's apprentice, and was seen as someone who could one day overthrow the Bogan and take his or her place.[1]
