The Great Sith War was a series of conflicts throughout the galaxy, and one of the most extensive conflicts of the Old Sith Wars. The war saw the emergence of a new Sith sect, unrelated to the True Sith Empire that rose in the Unknown Regions after the Great Hyperspace War. Like the Great Hyperspace War, the Sith fought against the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic.
