Galactic Basic Standard, also called Galactic Basic, was a common language spoken by Humans in the galaxy.[1] Some species understood the language, such as Whills[2] and Neimoidians,[1] even if they did not speak it. Other species, such as Gungans, spoke it as their second language.[3]
