Ludo Kressh was a Sith Lord from the time of the First Sith Empire who commanded a number of Sith forces.[1] He vied against Nada Sadow for the throne of Dark Lord of the Sith after the death of the reigning Dark Lord, Marka Ragnos, and declared himself a Dark Lord in opposition to the reign of Sadow.[2]
After the end of the Great Hyperspace War and the fall of the First Sith Empire, Kressh died and was buried in a tomb in the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban. His forces scattered after his death, having become loyal to the Sith Emperor. Those who did not venture into the Unknown Regions and become part of the True Sith Empire fled the Galactic Republic forces that attacked Sith territory.[1]
Centuries later, in 3,678 BBY, the Sith Emperor ordered the destruction of any information related to the Kresh family and the forces that were loyal to them. This action was taken after the Emperor's apprentice, Exal Kressh, betrayed him.[1] Just over a century later, in 3,951 BBY, Meetra Surik visited the tomb of Ludo Kressh where she saw a vision of Darth Revan and Darth Malak as they were during the Mandalorian Wars.[3]
