An electropole was a pointed spear weapon used by the Gungan Empire during the Invasion of Utapau. The weapon derived its name from its charged tip, which emitted a distinct electric charge when placed in close proximity to another object. The shock had an ability to hurt individuals who were touched by it, and an insulated hand-grip protected the wielder from the electrical effects. During the Invasion of Utapau, Gungan Captain Tarpals and exiled Prince Jar Binks dueled one another with electropoles.[1]
