The Council of Elders was a governing body in the Ophuchi Clan. The Ophuchi were mostly communal, with most decisions made as a group, but the Council of Elders existed to make some of the larger decisions the group faced. One of the Elders was the leader of the Ophuchi, who acted as the Clan's voice and spiritual guide. The Council was the only hierarchy within the Ophuchi.[1]
