When Banik Kelrada was a Jedi Padawan, he and his master went on a mission in 13,027 BBY. While they were on the mission, they were attacked and kidnapped by a group of slavers who were looking for new slaves. The two Jedi resisted, and Banik's master was killed. Banik himself was taken prisoner for months before finally escaping.[1]
