Knighthood[1]

The Acceptance, originally commissioned as Knighthood, was a Galactic Republic Judicial Forces vessel during the Yinchorri Uprising. Though the vessel was christened as the Knighthood, its name was changed to Acceptance after its assignment became one of attempting to accept new planets into the Republic. During this time, Lieutenant Antidar Williams served as the vessel's co-pilot, eventually becoming the lead pilot.[1]

In 23 BBY, the Acceptance was ordered, along with four other Republic cruisers, to aide a Jedi strike team during the Battle of Uhanayih. The Acceptance participated in a firefight with a number of Yinchorri vessels before providing cover for the Jedi strike team as it infiltrated a hidden Yinchorri base and arrested the Yinchorri High Command. When the vessel returned to orbit, a final Yinchorri vessel arrived, its orders to reinforce the fleet that had already been destroyed, and damaged the Acceptance's engines, causing it to crash land on the planet where it was destroyed. Most of its crew, however, was able to survive.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Acceptance having originally been named Knighthood is a homage to the Star Wars fan fiction novel Acceptance, written by Squishy Vic. The novel, once part of the Alternative Star Wars Saga, was originally titled Knighthood before its name was changed to better reflect its content.[2]
