The year 3,952 before the Battle of Yavin (BBY) was a period of time in the years following the Jedi Civil War. Laili Jeyna Rendar was born on Corellia during this time.
Proem[]
Due to the Jedi Order having been scattered across the galaxy, Jedi Master Brarh Kefle and his apprentice, Ussej Padric Bac, were in hiding from the Second Sith Empire on Corellia.[1]
The galaxy in 3,952 BBY[]
While in hiding, Kefle in Bac were involved in a speeder accidents in the streets of Corellia. The two were unhurt, but the passengers of the other speeder, Corwin Rendar and his pregnant wife Jeyna Rendar, were severely injured. All four were rushed to the hospital by Stavan Jetzt, a Galactic Republic soldier who had just returned to Corellia after being held as a prisoner of war by the Sith. The Rendars died from their wounds at the hospital, but the doctors were able to save Jeyna's unborn child, Laili Jeyna Rendar.[1]
Impact[]
Following the accident, the Jedi Order reorganized itself. Bac and Kefle ended their exile and returned to the Order. In the years that followed, Bac became a Jedi Knight and ultimately fell in love with Laili, eventually considering her the love of his life.[1]
